“This was the very first project of the Florida Legislature’s new Vision Caucus; and it will help thousands of Floridians with vision loss. My wife and I will proudly display one of these tags on our car.”
— Representative Dennis Baxley (R-Ocala), who sponsored legislation creating the “A State of Vision” specialty license tag
“These license plates will raise critically-needed money to help thousands of Floridians who live with limited vision or blindness every day. I’m proud and thankful that the Florida Legislature had the vision to create this new license plate.”
— Lee Nasehi, past president of the Florida Agencies Serving the Blind and Executive Director of Lighthouse Central Florida
Please note, we have no connection with the Florida Lighthouse Association, a group who supports actual lighthouse structures. They now have a tag featuring a lighthouse image on the left.
